FAQ

What is a Haven Direct Health subscription?

Haven Direct Health provides primary healthcare services using a subscription model. That means that in order to receive care with Haven, you must be a member and pay an inexpensive monthly subscription fee.

What benefits and Services come with a Haven membership?

Your Haven Direct Health monthly membership fee covers all primary healthcare visits at no additional cost. There are never any co-pays or deductibles to worry about! That means that you can have as many face to face office visits and technology-aided consultations as you need.

Additionally, Haven members have access to our near-wholesale “List Plus” services, including pharmacy, point of care, and lab services.

List Plus Pharmacy Services

Haven Direct Health dispenses most common non-controlled-substance medications, supplies, and supplements, directly to you, in house, and at a fraction of the cost of traditional pharmacies. Whether you need a round of antibiotics for an acute bacterial infection, or supplies and medications to manage a chronic illness like diabetes, you’ll save time and money with Haven’s List Plus pharmacy services

List Plus Point of Care Diagnostics

Point of Care diagnostics are tests offered on-site with results available in a matter of minutes. Common Point of Care tests include blood sugar, influenza A/B, and pregnancy. Haven members pay for these tests at our Cost Plus rate. Like our pharmacy products, this amount is a fraction of what would be paid in the traditional modern healthcare system.

List Plus Lab Services

Haven Direct Health’s members also have access to all of our lab services at List Plus prices. A fairly comprehensive bloodwork panel, for example, costs less than taking a family of four out to fast food. These inexpensive labs allow us to offer you truly innovative healthcare services, both in treating current illnesses, and preventing future ones.

Other Services Offered

We constantly growing and expanding. As we add new secondary services, you’ll be able to find them here.

Offering your employees a Haven Direct Health membership is the single highest-impact employee benefit available in Fremont County! Not only will your employees love the care they receive, but you’ll benefit from a healthier workforce and potentially significant healthcare and insurance cost savings!

Can Haven reduce my healthcare expenses?

In many cases, the savings created by our inexpensive prescriptions, labs, and other services more than pays for the cost of a Haven membership. Even with no additional services, just a handful of office visits or a single emergency room visit that could have been prevented with a Haven membership more than makes up for your subscription fee.

Imagine the case of a person requiring treatment for something common, like influenza.

What are Haven’s Hours of Operation?

Extended Hours for Members

Haven Direct Health keeps extended hours, 7 days a week. These extended hours are available only to members. We leverage technology to be accessible to you during these hours. So even when our office doors are closed, we will be available to respond to your phone calls and texts in a timely manner. If we need to see you in the office, we’ll schedule it and meet you there quickly!

Emergency Hours

We do keep extended hours and we can treat many things that people go to the emergency room for, but we are not able to guarantee 24/7 availability. If you are experiencing a medical emergency that puts your life or health in immediate danger, you should call 911 or go to the emergency room.

Regular Business Hours

Google makes us list set hours, so our doors are open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Insurance and Billing Questions

Will a Haven Direct Health membership change any of my current insurance benefits?

No. Your current insurance benefits will remain the same, including Medicare, Medicaid, IHS and VA.

Will Haven Direct Health bill my insurance?

No. Not dealing with insurance companies allows us to keep our costs down and focus on you and your healthcare needs. If you happen to have health insurance that will reimburse you for services provided by Haven Direct Health, you can submit those claims to your insurance company yourself.

Can I pay for my Haven subscription with my HSA?

We encourage you to consult with a professional on the specifics of your HSA. That being said, many of our members pay for incidental expenses with their HSA. Our understanding is that your HSA cannot be used to pay for your membership expenses. Learn more.
